We’re pleased to announce that the YWCA Bucks County has received a $1.25 million award from the Bezos Day 1 Families Fund! We’re one of 40 organizations across the country selected this year by an independent advisory group of family homelessness experts for our leadership in helping families experiencing homelessness in Bucks County find stability and achieve wellbeing. We plan to use this incredible contribution to increase its capacity to serve more individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Through its Rapid Rehousing and Shared Housing programs, YWCA Bucks County will assist unhoused families to transition into permanent housing by providing case management, rental assistance and supportive services. We’re incredibly thankful for the Day 1 Families Fund’s support as we work to ensure that every family in our community has a safe, stable place to call home.
